As with Spoon, the general rule of thumb is to do high reps and low resistance for all lower body exercises and moderate to high resistance for all upper body exercises.
If you are very overweight, the resistance for your upper body should not be too high until you start to lose weight.
Below you add mass and size very quickly, so you don't want to shed the fat while building muscle underneath.
Until you get to a height you're comfortable with, don't increase the resistance or weight of any exercise, instead increase the number of repetitions to continue burning fat and inches.
KEEP IN MIND:
Some women think they are spoons because their lower body is slightly larger than their upper body.
They're actually bottom-heavy hourglasses, meaning they accumulate at both the top and bottom, but accumulate faster and more at the bottom.
